Overview

A Web-browser-compatible digital signature component CreaSign .NET is a software component, which enables simple and secure implementation of digital signatures and digital signature verification, encryption and decryption. It complies with all the European recommendations and technical standards. An easyto- use high level API enables integration of the component into different applications.

CreaSign .NET can be easily and securely used even from a Web browser. Web browser happens to be the most popular client application for end-user related e-business, yet it is extremely challenging to properly and efficiently integrate digital signature functionality into it. CreaSign .NET component is small and it installs automatically on a first use.

The CreaSign .NET component is provided in two editions:

CreaSign .NET Lite
Provides an easy way to create and verify XML and PKCS#7 digital signatures. With only three methods (CreateSignature, CreateSignatureOnFiles, Verify), it provides an easy to learn API. CreaSign .NET Lite is an ideal solution for an entry into the world of digital signatures.

CreaSign .NET Pro
Provides all the features of CreaSign .NET Lite, plus the following:

• Support for multiple signatures and signature hierarchy
• Support for timestamps that ensure the long-term validity of digitally signed documents
• Support for electronic documents that can include data, visualisations and attachments
• Live XML! technology that enables a seamless integration with the XML parser
• A powerful set of classes that provides an easy access to underlying XML structures
• CreaSignVerifier - a stand alone application that is a part of the CreaSign SDK and can be used to verify the digital signatures

Simple, yet efficient
Even though CreaSign .NET is very simple to use, it does not limit you in usage of advanced options, like left and right signature, parallel or sequential (counter) signatures, partial signature, signing a large file, using digital certificates on smart cards, etc. The LiveXML! technology also allows advanced users to directly access the XML structure of the underlying electronic document and customize it to their own individual needs.
